The Houston County Trustee is responsible for collecting and depositing county revenues including property taxes, sales tax, alcoholic beverage tax, utility taxes, petroleum taxes, wheel taxes, education funds, highway funds, hotel/motel tax, and other monies such as grants and monthly funds from other county offices.
